The Information Needed To Get Started On A Personal Injury Case After An Accident

In this article, you will learn:

  • What is needed to get started on your claim
  • What makes our firm unique in handling personal injury cases.

Not much information is needed right off the bat. What day did it happen, where did it happen, do you know who hit you; if so, what’s their name, what’s their insurance company, what’s the policy number, what’s your insurance company name and policy number? To help in a PIP claim, like I described very early on, we would need that, and that’s going to help offset your medical bills. At a minimum, to get started, we need the date of the accident, where it happened, and where you live so I can get you to a chiropractor nearby, and hopefully you’ll have the other driver’s information. Then I want to get started with you by getting you into the medical care, and then we can do all the paperwork after that, but I just want to get you help as quickly as I can.

How Our Firm Is Unique In Handling Your Case

I care about my clients, and that’s probably why so many of them come back to me over and over, and they refer cases to me again and again. I do almost no advertising, I have no billboards, no TV ads, no radio ads, and I have clients coming to me left and right that have known me for years, or I have known their families for years because it’s really a one-on-one relationship. They talk to me; they text me even on the weekends and at night, I’m still doing texts and emails. I care about them as people, I care about their physical recovery and their physical health, and of course I care about getting them a fair check as well, which is going to come last, but it will be there eventually in almost every case.

I know exactly what I’m doing; I didn’t graduate law school yesterday like some brand new attorneys can almost say that are working at these big firms. I care about the person individually, and I will take the case as far as I have to to get a fair number, even if that means going to a jury trial. They take a lot of my time, but I do them. I don’t just take a cheap settlement just to get you off my desk and look at you like a number. It’s a one-by-one, case-by-case situation, and I don’t think that every firm can say that. In fact maybe not too many. Some firms have reputations of not going to trial. They’ll file a suit and they won’t go to trial, which is kind of like the secretive word on the street about them, but that’s not true for me. I will go to trial and insurance companies keep track of that. If they look me up, there’s a program called Colossus, which will tell insurance providers information, and when they look me, they’ll see I will go as far as I need to in order to reach the settlement you deserve. And if we can all save some expenses and time and they can just give me a good settlement offer right now, then it’s going to save them money as well, not to mention us. So, therefore, I get very good settlements in after filing suit or before a suit because they know that I’m not going to let it go, and I’m going to cost them time and money. So, this is what sets my firm apart from some others when handling injury cases.
